is a form of limestone deposited by mineral springs, specially hot springs.travertine often has a
fibrous or concentric appearance and exists in white ,tan and cream-coloured. its formed by the precipitation of
carbonate minerals from solution in ground and surface water .
limestone
is a sedimantary rock composed largely of the minerals calcite and aragonite ,wich are different crystal form
of calcum carbonate .

is a clastic sedimentary rock composed mainly of sand sized minerals or rock grains and
